How to Pick Your First Kettlebell!

For any woman starting to learn kettlebells or wanting to add more skills to her strength training, Coach Tina ideally recommends 3 sizes: 8kg (16lbs), 12kg (26lbs) and 16kg (36lbs)

8kg: As a starter bell to build confidence and create baseline strength for your swings, presses, squats, rows, deadlifts and lunges. You will outgrow these but this size is essential for confidence and the feeling of safety.

12kg: All the 8kg exercises will become easy and this is the ideal next size for all your foundation strength exercises.

16kg: Is an attainable & strong weight that you will use again and again.

If you were to only pick one - 12kg (26lbs) as a solid baseline weight that won't be easy nor too hard.
