Taking control of our independence and bodily autonomy as we get older is one of the greatest gifts. For so many of us, working out was always a means to shrink ourselves; but now is the time to expand and take up space within ourselves.

We aren’t about restrictive diet life here. Nope, done that fruitless bullsh*t.

Straight Up Strong is a breath of fresh air in a world filled with quick fixes, burning yourself with hours of cardio workouts, and communities filled with diets and “before & after” photos.

When we take the focus off weight loss and shift our energy to self affirming and nourishing behaviors that we integrate into our lives consistently, we thrive.

    He/They

    Jessie is a circus artist and coach who is equally passionate about weight lifting and flexibility. He believes that strength is the way to healthier and longer-lasting flexibility, and range of motion will unlock better lifting. Jessie teaches all levels of flexibility, from absolute beginner all the way through contortion as well as running Lifting for Length, a weightlifting program for hypermobile individuals and/or those pursuing flexibility.

    Jessie coaches through his business Twisted Fox Training, as well as Straight up Strong, MyFlex, and Positive Spin Pole Dance in Seattle, WA.
